Why Thermage is described as two weeks and this is four

Both are lifting treatments, and both work by stimulating the skin rather than by removing anything. But Thermage and Xerf use radiofrequency energy delivered into the dermis, while Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound delivered deeper. The energy and depth differ, and so does the timetable.

To be clear, two weeks isn't better than four, and four isn't stronger than two. These are separate treatments with their own declared windows. Which one suits you depends on what we're treating.

So the wait isn't a recovery period. You don't have anything to manage. The interval is just how the treatment works.

The stated effects are improved fine lines and elasticity along with facial contouring, across the face and chin. The results duration is described as long lasting, and a repeat session is recommended once every six months to one year.

If you are flying in for it

Four weeks is longer than nearly any trip to Korea, so in practical terms you will be home before the change appears. Booking it the week of a wedding, a reunion or a photo shoot works against the treatment.

A better plan: have the treatment when it fits your trip, then count forward four weeks. That date will fall back home, on your own calendar.
