AUVEL Clinic (the Clinic) publishes this Privacy Policy under Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect personal information and address related concerns promptly.
Article 1. Information collected and how
For online, phone and messenger consultations and appointment requests, required information is your name, mobile number and the details of your inquiry or appointment request. IP address, cookies, access time, service-use records and device information may be collected automatically. Information is collected through website requests, phone calls, messaging channels such as KakaoTalk, and automatic collection technologies.
Article 2. Purposes of collection and use
The Clinic uses this information to confirm consultations and appointment requests, provide care-related guidance and contact you, respond to inquiries and complaints, and compile service statistics to operate and improve the website. Medical records created for clinical care are managed and retained separately under applicable medical laws.
Article 3. Retention period
Information is destroyed without delay after its purpose is fulfilled. Consultation and appointment-request information is kept for one year from collection for handling inquiries and disputes, unless a law requires longer retention. Advertising records are kept for six months; consumer complaint or dispute records for three years; and access logs for three months, under the applicable Korean statutes.
Article 4. Sharing with third parties
The Clinic processes personal information only for the purposes in Article 2. It provides information to a third party only with the individual's consent or where permitted by Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act or other special legal provisions.
Article 5. Entrusted processing
Where external processing is necessary to provide services, the Clinic will disclose the processor and entrusted tasks in this policy as required by Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and supervise the processor's safe handling of information.
Article 6. Your rights and how to exercise them
You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. Contact the privacy officer in Article 10 in writing, by phone or by email; the Clinic will respond without delay.
Article 7. Destruction of information
Information is destroyed without delay when its retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files are permanently deleted by technical means so they cannot be recovered; paper records are shredded or incinerated.
Article 8. Security measures
The Clinic uses administrative measures (internal management plans and staff training), technical measures (access-right management, access controls and security software), and physical measures (restricted access to storage locations).
Article 9. Cookies
The Clinic may use cookies to provide tailored services. You can refuse cookie storage in your browser settings, although some services may then be limited.

Article 12. Changes to this policy
This policy takes effect on June 18, 2026. If laws, policies or security technology require additions, deletions or amendments, the Clinic will announce changes on its website at least seven days before they take effect.
